Collettivo L'Amalgama
Angelica Bifano is co-founder of Collettivo L’Amalgama, a theater company founded in 2016 by ten actors and actresses who trained between 2013 and 2016 at the Civic Academy of Dramatic Arts “Nico Pepe” in Udine, under the guidance of nationally and internationally renowned directors and educators.
Collettivo L’Amalgama was born as a space for theatrical research and production. Since its founding, it has developed a variety of performances—original creations, adaptations, and contemporary dramaturgies—receiving awards and recognition over time. In 2021, the company became a cultural association.
The group’s strength lies in the diversity of its members: ten artists who find a common artistic identity through the intersection of their diverse visions. The company’s work is characterized by a constant exploration of contemporary languages and themes, with a particular focus on local theatrical creation processes, community engagement, and the development of new audiences both inside and outside the theater.
